Columbus’ “discovery” wasn’t exactly a discovery. He basically took away the land and the freedom of the people there. You wouldn’t consider that “discovering” land, you’d call it stealing it. When he got there it was even worse. If he needed and translator or guides, he’d kidnap someone. If men wanted women for sexual pleasures, he could kidnap them as sex slaves. If the Indians were to resist, Columbus would counter with vicious dogs, along with hanging and mutilations.
