The People Around You

When the film finished I was still pondering what I had watched, I was just letting it all sink in. I had to spend the rest of my day thinking what this short film meant to me and by the end of Friday night I had finally decided that to me this film was about the people around you every day in your life. It’s about all your goofy friends and crazy siblings. It really just shows people how they ought to treat all others no matter how different they are.

Even if you hate your brother you should never bring him into the “department of odds and ends”. One doesn’t want to put those who are different in a place such as that. If one does that they will never have the opportunity to flourish and will live the rest of their life in a dismal state. That is the worst thing that can happen to people if they are misfits in society. We have to let the flourish so they can grow from what people currently call ugly to something that everyone one will call beautiful and magnificent.

So in a few word this short film is a very good lesson on how to treat those around you who are different and are a bit on the outside of society. To me this lesson is one of the most important lessons to teach someone when they’re young to help prevent bullying and promote overall happiness. Just because one person is different and a bit off of the norm doesn’t mean they should be put away, they should be cared for so they can become truly beautiful. So this short film really just shows how the world ought to be.
