Thompson library is one of the major libraries in the main OSU campus. It was renovated in 2009. It already has a nearly 306,000 sq ft study spaces and extensive collections, and helps faculty and staff to research.
It has multiple floors and lots of rooms for students to study and activities. However, students always waste more time finding comfortable seats in a maze like library and sometimes crowded library could make this phenomenon worse.

Library improvement works for all OSU students. Also, about 28.8% of seniors, 30.4% of juniors and 30.8% of sophomores always to almost always use the library to study (Kuh and Gonyea, 2003). We can clearly see the proportion of students who always go to library in the following graph.
The fact means we not only need to figure out the time problem, but also the attraction.
