Meeting 2:

Date: 2/5/2019

Time: 12:30, face to face

Members: Hannah, Jeremiah, Sydney, James

Objective: The main focus of this meeting was to decide how to construct the AEV design and build it. Update the website and add details.

Tasks completed:

  • Assembled the AEV
  • Focused on minimizing air resistance
  • Research design of AEV
  • Update 2 for website
  • Look ahead at upcoming lab and start brainstorming and preparing

Tasks to complete:

  • Continue working on website
  • Continue improving the AEV and working out all the kinks
  • Progress report will be a subject of next meeting

Decisions:

  • Decide how to make the AEV as aerodynamic as possible
  • Experimented with how to increase stability and fix the issue with it being off balance/lopsided
  • Assign tasks in updating the website and distributing workload

Reflections:

  • Communication between teammates has improved but still lots of room for improvement as the semester goes on
  • No roadblocks, everything going smoothly

 

Meeting 3:

Date: 2/13/2019

Time: 9:45am

Members: Sydney, Jeremiah, and Hannah

Objective: The main focus of this meeting was to work on the Progress Report 1 for the Preliminary R&D labs and to assign what parts of the report each member will be responsible of

Tasks Completed:

  • Assigning who will do what on the Progress Report 1
  • Picking out which Advanced R&D Topics the group will be doing
  • Update website and make sure that tabs are in proper place
  • Look ahead at upcoming lab and brainstorm how we will go about each topic

Tasks to complete:

  • Finish assigned Progress Report part for each member
  • Continue improving AEV
  • Finish Servo Function topic for Advanced R&D

Decisions:

  • Team members decided which Advanced R&D topic the group will do
  •  Team members decided on distributing workload for Progress Report 1
  • Team members decided on when next Team meeting will occur

Reflections:

  • Meeting was a success and Team members present completed the tasks that were assigned to them in the Progress Report 1
  • Members need to find a sufficient time to meet where all members can be present to ensure teamwork and completing assignments to the fullest

 

Meeting 4:

Date: 2/22/2019

Time: 12:30 pm

Members: Sydney, Jeremiah, James and Hannah

Objective: The main goal for this whole meeting was to work on and touch up the R&D presentation the following week and to practice the presentation.

Tasks Completed:

  • Practicing presenting the completed R&D Presentation
  • Fixing mistakes found within the presentation/scripts/notes

Tasks to Complete:

  • Upcoming Progress Report 2
  • Improving the AEV
  • Actual R&D Presentation within class

Decisions:

  • The group decided what order each group member would be presenting in
  • The order of each topic of discussion within the presentation
  • Talked about possible times and dates for the next team meeting

Reflection:

  • Overall, the team meeting was a success and everything on the to do list was completed
  • Each team member came prepared and ready to work which allowed this meeting to go very well and complete all the tasks at hand
  • There was much communication between group members and everyone was on the same page
