Artifacts

One artifact that is significant to my academic accomplishments and interests is the pin I received from my professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. When I received a bid after a week or so of rushing, I did not know what to expect. However, after undergoing a time consuming pledge semester, I can say that joining a business fraternity was the best decision I made in my first full semester at Ohio State. The friends that I made, along with the professional growth I endured truly enriched my college experience so far. Unfortunately, we had to return our pledge pins at initiation, but we also received our new fraternity pins to signify an active brother of DSP. This pin is special to me because it represents so much more than just a shiny piece of metal. It represents my entry into the world of business, a world in which I will hopefully hold a career one day.

About Me

My name is Cole Engel, and I am a first year student at The Ohio State University. I  am pursing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting at the Max M. Fisher College of Business. I was accepted into the Business Scholars Program, one of 17 living and learning communities in the Honors and Scholars Program. I also recently became an active brother of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity on campus. I am looking to develop myself both personally and professionally in my 4 years at Ohio State.
