Berlin Zoos Through History!
During times of crisis (especially war times) it’s easy to forget about the other living beings that we share this earth with. Already voiceless, animals have no say in any matters of their lives and as the citizens are fleeing to get away from the danger and the combat, not many stop to think about the animals stuck in the Zoos.
The story of the Berlin Zoo is quite a comeback story. After being financially depleted, bombed and rivaled against, The Berlin Zoo is still going strong 172 years later. What’s even better is that now there are two zoos in Berlin helping each other to grow and furthering the worlds knowledge with research.
