Hello, and welcome to our website on the beautiful Tiergarten in Berlin!
The Tiergarten is essential to the recreation of local Berliners and is often referred to as “the green lungs of the city.” The park has approximately 1,400 different species, over 100 of which are on the red list of endangered species.

The Tiergarten, once located outside of the city when its main purpose was a hunting retreat for Prussian nobles, has been transformed over the years into Berlin’s oldest park, now lying at the heart of the city.
