Alexanderplatz

We went by the TV tower in Alexanderplatz. We went on a tour of the city and got to see the TV tower up close and from far away.

Everyday so far we have seen the tower in the east. It is very helpful in navigating the city.  In a few days we are going to go up to the observation deck of the tower for our project.

It was built by the GDR in the 60s. At the time it was the 3rd tallest building in Europe.
