Reichstag and Sachsenhausen

On Wednesday we started the day by going to the Reichstag for a tour. During this tour we saw how the government functions. When voting they can raise their hands to vote or when calling for a re-vote all members must leave and re-enter through three doors where the secretary’s will keep count.  It was a wonderful and informational tour.

Next, we saw the location of one of the book burnings of Berlin. It was in the Opera Square. Then we went to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. It was an emotional and educational experience.
