DDR Museum, Stasi Museum, and German Food

On Friday, the students visited the DDR Museum and the Stasi Museum. The DDR Museum is packed with pictures and antiques to replicate what it was like to live in the German Democratic Republic.

Similarly, the Stasi Museum had original offices set up which provided an idea of what it was like to work for and be a part of the secret police.

Everyone finished the day at an old German restaurant called Stadtklause for the last “family dinner” in Berlin. They are sad that tomorrow will be their last full day in Germany, but are also excited to be home.
