William Welch is the owner of WJW Consulting where he provides consulting services in the information technology space focusing on data analytics, data system design, and enterprise system architecture. In addition to consulting, he has served the public in higher education and public agencies for nearly 15 years building nationally-recognized data and software solutions.
William’s academic interests include the organization and dynamics of energy markets, the use of technology to facilitate those markets, strategies for recruiting and retaining public sector technology professionals, and the benefits and costs of privatization in delivering government services.
He has published on energy deregulation and resilience decision making in The Energy Journal and the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society.
