  • What is the most useful thing I learned in this module?

The strategies that I used for note taking included removing all distractions, writing longhand instead of typed notes, and there is a lot of information presented in the classroom, but not everything can be written down.
It’s necessary to write down the important information. Manually writing helps to organize information.
It’s easier to focus when distractions are removed, and to pay attention all throughout class.
Obtaining the structure of the lesson, and observing the cadence of the tone throughout the lecture. I also learned that there are various kinds of notes that can be taken.

    • A specific example of something from this module I have already put into practice is removing all distractions when trying to take notes.

    • I could put the Cornell and bullet point methods into practice in the future by utilizing them in the next lecture.

    • I would advise them to experiment with various kinds of written styles of notes.
