Taking a closer look at Climate Change

In this video Chad Frischmann introduces the audience to the concepts of climate change, from how it has originated to what the future may hold for the planet. He is giving this presentation at a TED Talk conference. He goes over all of the solutions that he and his team have come up to counteract the affects of climate change and hopefully reverse the negative processes. Chad Frischmann is the vice president and a director at a nonprofit organization, Project Drawdown, which is focused on combatting climate change through innovation. This New York Times article talks about the recent weather that the planet has been experiencing. This article is written by the New York Times climate change correspondent, Henry Fountain. The New York Times is considered one of the premier journalistic news publications when it comes to fact checking.

Above is a link to the official NASA page on climate change. NASA is consistently at the forefront for presenting the newest findings of how climate change is affecting the planet. They are able to use their wide array of satellites in order to monitor the planet and will consistently present their data to the global community.

“An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It”

Al Gore was perhaps the first person to bring the issue of Climate Change to the forefront of the world’s zeitgeist. Originally the only issue discussed was the potential for global warming. Since then the issue has developed into the a more complete description of climate change. This climate change is directly related to the effects of global warming caused by the continuing increase in the levels of CO2 produced.

This is the most recent issue of Nature: Climate Change, as well as a link to the journals website. This journal is an offshoot of the journal, “Nature” which is held in extreme regard by the scientific community. The articles written are all peer reviewed before being published, and are written by experts in their respective fields. The journal is published on a monthly basis.
