Module 2 Blog Post

Dear Student,

I wanted to share with you a few specific ideas that I have found helpful in todays post. I think it will be helpful to share that I graduated high school in 2011 and I know to some of you that makes me practically a senior citizen but after I graduated I went straight into the workforce so I’ve seen what it’s like out there in the real world and I’m here to tell you what I have learned. In this weeks module we discussed how to work in a group setting and what tools would be useful in said group settings. I really can’t stress enough communication and using a cloud based system when working together. Emails might be useful to update people on your work but please trust me that it is better to have your group work all in one place instead of sending different versions of a group project back and forth. It is vitally important that you are always on the same page as an organization and having a cloud based service like google drive is the best way to do that. With that being said it’s important not only to have assignments in the cloud but also deadlines and to-do list in there as well so that everybody is aware of what needs to be done and when.
