Year in Review

College has challenged me to go outside out of comfort zone and create opportunities for myself. Everyday I continue to grow closer with the people in my Scholars community and gain new perspectives. I look forward to what the next 3 and a half years have to offer.

About Me

My name is Joey Elisar and I am a freshman in the Politics, Society, and Law Scholars community at The Ohio State University. I am from Bexley, Ohio where I graduated from Bexley High School with a Honors diploma. I came to Ohio State to experience a diverse student body and rigorous academic curriculum that would challenge my conceptions about the world. I enjoy playing music, reading, and performing community service. I am currently involved in student radio, college democrats and the film and video society.

This photo was taken on one of the mission trips I participated in. I was painting an elderly lady’s porch in Racine, Wisconsin.
