Title: Inclusion Along a Continuum of Settings: Discovering the Possibilities When Using Dramatic Inquiry for Literacy Learning
Abstract: Preliminary findings in a classroom along the continuum of educational placements with a teacher committed to collaborative and dramatic inquiry-based pedagogy are discussed. Critical ethnographic methods were used. The findings from the data are discussed using the researcher’s definition of inclusion.

Title: Field Notes from Djibouti: Critical Reflections at the Intersections of a Researcher’s Identity
Abstract: The author will share critical reflections from field notes taken during fieldwork in Djibouti in order to address the concept of insider-outsider research and explore the role of rigorous reflexivity in international education research. The author draws from indigenous epistemologies and black feminist theory to discuss research methodologies.

Title: “It’s Just So, Like, I Don’t Know”: A Thematic Analysis of Experiences of Biraciality
Abstract: This oral presentation discusses a specific methodological strain of a larger dissertation study considering the educationally-based experiences of individuals with one Black and one White parent. The presenter outlines the manner in which a thematic analysis was put to use and considers the benefits achieved by using this approach.
