Project Abstract: The primary objective of the proposed project tests whether one-time consumption of ModCarb in combination with a protein product will improve aerobic exercise performance in moderately trained young women. The secondary objective is to assess blood and/or saliva measures of glucose, lactate, and certain cytokines, before and after exercise in subjects treated or not treated with ModCarb + protein.

In partnership with the Ohio Literacy Resource Center at Kent State University, the PDN is a collaboration of content experts, trainers, and researchers working to deliver and support evidence-based, high quality, effective in-service professional development in areas of importance to nearly 1,000 Ohio ABLE professionals—administrators, support staff, and teachers.
