EDUCST 2189S – First Education Experience Program (FEEP)

The First Education Experience Program (FEEP) is a required field experience requirement for our students to learn first-hand about the education field by spending time in local PreK-12 schools or other education settings. More information on the FEEP program can be found on our website.

When should I take FEEP? 

Most of our students enroll in FEEP within their first year at OSU. You will need to apply for FEEP one semester in advance.

How/When should I apply? 

The application link can be found on the FEEP webpage. We also send out the updated application links in our EHE email newsletters. Applications for Autumn open around mid-March and applications for Spring open around mid-October. Applications close about one month after opening.

You will need to block your calendar in schedule planner:

  • 3 credit hour section: MWF 7am-12pm
  • 5 credit hour section(Special Education students): MWThF 7am-12pm

How do I register/ enroll in the EDUCST 2189s course?

If you have applied for FEEP, you will receive a confirmation email from the FEEP Coordinator. That email contains pertinent information about FEEP and a checklist of items you will also need to complete, including steps to register for the course.
