Registration Window (Enrollment Appointment)
You can check when your registration window opens in your MyBuckeyelink account. Once this window opens you will have until the first week of classes (for full term courses) to enroll in classes.
Registration Hold
You can select the to-do item in Buckeyelink to view an explanation of why the hold was placed on your account and how to have it released.
Financial Responsibility Statement is the most common hold. To get started, click on ‘Details’ in the HOLDS box in your Student Center; then, click on ‘Registration Lock’; finally, click on ‘Complete Financial Responsibility Statement’. You will need to complete the Financial Responsibility Statement every semester before you can register for courses.

Waitlist for a Course
If you need to enroll in a class that is full, please add yourself to the waitlist after your scheduling window opens. Be sure to keep an eye on your waitlist position so you know when you are enrolled in the class. Especially because if you are added into the course and decide not to take it, you will need to make sure to drop it from your schedule before the drop deadline.
Your waitlist position can be viewed by clicking the “My Class Schedule” link in your BuckeyeLink account.

Earning Internship Credit
Have you already acquired an internship or have a job that you will be able to use for an internship course during a future semester?
-
- If YES, please complete the student learning agreement (https://ehe.osu.edu/career-development/internship-credit) and upload an offer letter or letter documenting experience by site supervisor once your enrollment window has opened to have it reviewed by our Career Development office. If the learning agreement is approved, you will be enrolled in the course for the following semester. ALL INTERNSHIP HOURS MUST BE COMPLETED DURING THE SAME SEMESTER YOU ARE ENROLLED IN THE COURSE. YOU CAN NOT RETROACTIVELY COUNT HOURS.
- If NO, you should start searching for a job or internships that you can use during a future semester. We would recommend utilizing OSU Handshake to jump start your internship search. Once you have established your internship, please follow the instructions for YES.
