Application Deadline EXTENDED to April 30th! Please apply!

We hope you consider applying to one of the most incredible student success programs at Ohio State Newark! The application is still available, which you can access under the “Application” tab on the left-hand navigation bar. Students are encouraged to pay their non-refundable Ohio State Acceptance Fee by this time as well. There is no fee to apply to the learning community. Our program is free and is for the primary purpose to support our students in their success!

If you have questions, please leave a comment on this site or call 740-755-7881.

We look forward to receiving your application and working with you as you become a Buckeye this fall!

Once the program is filled, students will be placed on a wait list for their application to be reviewed. As positions become available, students may be accepted off of the wait list.

Deadline to apply, April 1st is quickly approaching!

Just a reminder –

The April 1st deadline to submit your application for the Education Teaching and Learning Community is quickly approaching. Please submit your application by then to receive first consideration for our program.

If you are interested in living in on-campus housing, please submit your housing application and pay the housing deposit by the earliest probable deadline. This date is earlier than the deadline marketed by the Housing Office, so learning community students can receive priority consideration to get into housing. More information can be found under “Housing” on the navigation bar.
