11:00-11:30 Publishing Panels
This session will offer two brief panels with several faculty members. One panel will discuss publishing in Pulses, and another will talk through producing scholarship in non-traditional venues (think podcasts! think blogs!). Featuring Kristine Cline, Dave Matthews, Victoria Williams, Leslie Newman, Nick Denton, and Janet Antwi. Facilitated by Kathy Kelley.
11:30-12:30 SoTLA Workshop
After the panels, we will hold an hour-long workshop for SOTLA projects. Anyone interested in the Scholarship of Teaching, Learning and Assessment is welcome to attend, and those currently at work on a SoTLA project are invited to submit in-progress work to get informal feedback from faculty peers. In-progress work can mean anything from a vague idea you want to brainstorm to a drafted paper for which you’d like comments.
So that we know how many facilitators we need, please sign up here if you would like to workshop a current project: RSVP here for SoTLA workshop (even if you’re a tentative yes). You do not need to RSVP if you are not submitting something for feedback–just feel free to join us.
