About Me

As a learner and a freshman here at OSU I am hardworking, attentive, and an active participant of volunteer opportunities that involve helping the environment. I volunteered at my local park as a gardener for a summer, I was able to participate in the Ole tangy River clean up, as well as going to El Salvador, witnessing first hand hope blessed we are here in America and understanding how hard it is to not have clean nor hot water and suffer from a lot of pollution in the area. Protecting the environment is really important to me and I want to see humans and our planet thrive together, but we can’t do that with major companies such as the oil industry, people are also at fault as well for not being aware. Mainly due to the certain actions people do such as throwing cigarette buds or black and milds everywhere or spitting gum on the floor or letting trash be all of over the place. Most people think the same in the sense that “oh this one act of hurting the planet won’t do anything”, however, since everyone does it that effects the planet in a big way. Most of the time I always watched the discovery or National Geographic channel or even possibly Animal Planet, watching animals and nature, looking at the imagery captured. I enjoy pretty much anything that includes life, but as much as I enjoy it I would rather try my best to save it first, so I am undecided right now, but I will most likely go into Environmental Science and minor in biology and engineering, while also trying to teach myself some Spanish. I’m not all work and no play since I also enjoy singing and dancing as well as playing basketball from time to time, and I am big on keeping my body fit. That is me in a nutshell, cannot wait to learn more and more about certain aspects of the environmental world that I may not have known, see you in class on Tuesday.
