Zachary L. Chaplow, PhD, CSCS, ACSM-EP
Dr. Chaplow is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Kinesiology/Health and Exercise Science in the College of Education and Human Ecology, Department of Human Sciences at OSU, director of the Exercise and Behavioral Medicine Lab, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Exercise Physiologist. Dr. Chaplow teaches several courses in the health and exercise science area along with conducting many exercise and diet studies primarily in older adults with chronic disease.

IN MEMORIAM:
Brian C. Focht, PhD, CSCS, FACSM, FNAK
The late Dr. Brian C. Focht was the founder and previous director of the Exercise and Behavioral Medicine Lab. Dr. Focht served vital roles at OSU and beyond as a Full Professor of Kinesiology in the Department of Human Sciences, an associate member of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, and Fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology, consultant to the National Institutes of Health, Italian Ministry of Health, and Canadian Cancer Society. His research and professional accomplishments in the area of exercise and health psychology/behavior, exercise oncology, physical activity in chronic disease prevention/management, and the effects of exercise on quality of life/psychological well-being are renowned worldwide.
