East Asian History Modules: The Ohio State University’s East Asian Studies Center’s (EASC) outreach program for K-14 teachers to infuse East Asian content in the classroom has developed materials to teach about East Asian History in the high school social studies and community college classroom. Materials are for use by any teacher and available on the East Asian Studies Center’s YouTube channel as part of EASC’s resources.
Take & Go: Teaching and Learning about East Asia Modules: Teacher and student resource materials have been created for several East Asian topical areas, including Crossroads & Conflict, Cultural Identity, Environment, and World Views. Modules are designed to give more in-depth resources for use by teachers or students and may include suggested readings, websites, maps, videos, vocabulary guides, games, simulations, timelines, etc. All are connected to standards and include target grade levels.
