About Me

Hi there! I’m Senna Dweik and am currently a First Year at The Ohio State University. Although my major is currently undecided, I am extremely excited to learn, grow, and find my passion throughout the next few years in my wonderful new home. I am quite extroverted and love to meet and talk to new people. I find myself drawn to community service as I love to do anything I can to help out those around me and around the world. It is for this reason that I decided to become a member of the Mount Leadership Society Scholars. Although I don’t know where the next few years will take me, I sure am looking forward to the ride! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Artifact 1

In my time at Ohio State so far, I have gotten a lot of great opportunities to further enhance my learning experience outside the classroom, particularly though Mount Leadership Society Scholars. Just this past month, I had the pleasure of volunteering at Fall Harvest Jamboree with a bunch of my fellow Mount scholars. We were assigned to various stations at Smith Farm in which different activities were scheduled. I personally got to work at the hayride station, the crafts barn, and the donut station. The values of the program are outlined in our five Mount Essentials: Willingness to Teach Others, Being Prepared and Following Through, Creating and Nurturing Relationships, Honor of Integrity, and Valuing Individuals. Throughout this all-day event, my peers and I got to display several of these essentials; we were prepared for our jobs and followed through on attending and doing what we promised, we were willing to teach others how to do each activity, and we created new relationships with others and nurtured those with each other. Seeing the excited reactions of the kids attending was so rewarding and truly showed that our work was making a difference in their lives. Overall, I loved my experience at Fall Harvest Jamboree and am grateful I got to be a part of such a great event. I can’t wait for more great opportunities to come!
