Team K Meetings

TEAM K MEETINGS

Meeting #1

Date: 1/10/19

Time: 4:10pm in class, introduction face to face

All Team K members present.

Discussed assigning team embers work for the website so it can be filled out in a timely manner.

Objective:

Introduce ourselves to our group and our entire company, together reaching a mutual understanding of what needs to be accomplished before the next lab on 1/17/19.

To Do:

Make sure everyone is on board to follow the rubric on Carmen and fill out every requirement it asks of the website such as drop down menus, mission statements, etc.

Adam, Gavin, Brynn and Bianca will all fill out their contact information. Adam will communicate with the other two groups and coordinate them on filling out their corresponding material.

Brynn and Bianca will now be in charge of documenting on the website.

Gavin will now be tasked with learning and becoming familiar with the basic Arduino programming process before the lab on the 17th to ensure we can work efficiently.

Decisions:

Adam created the website quickly to ensure that the other 11 members could start work on it.

Each group would have a representative who could communicate efficiently via a group chat between the twelve of us. Those people could then tell the rest of the group members in case they did not see the messages.

Adam initialized the creation of the website, filling out team K’s information on the website as well as the mission statement

Brynn and Bianca are now tasked with documenting team K’s endeavors on the Dreese Data Systems website. They are assuming these roles to help Adam and Gavin focus on the other aspects of the AEV project.

Reflections:

Ensuring that all team members were active in the group chat would make the ordeal run much smoother.

Due to this being the first lab of the semester and with the amount of work needed to be completed, the first meeting seemed chaotic.

Meeting #3

Date: 3/6/2019

Time: 7:00 pm (Facetime meeting)

All team members present

Discussed plan for taking on workload for the week we get back from spring break and 3D printing

Objective:

To make sure everyone is on the same page for the amount of work to come when we get back from break

To Do:

Divide up workload between the progress report #2, website update #3, performance test and the R&D oral presentation

Decisions:

Bianca and Brynn will write the bulk of the progress report #2. Adam will complete the website update #3 and come in and revise the progress report. Gavin will used the collected data for the two methodology tests and format it into excel graphs. He will also complete the code needed for the performance test. Each group member will read through the rubric for the oral presentation and get an idea of what needs to be accomplished in preparation for a short meeting in monday’s lab (3/18).

Reflections:

It helped everyone in our group feel less overwhelmed when we had this meeting. The incoming workload will be challenging but dividing it up helps us not be overwhelmed.
