Second Artifact: Football

One of the things that has meant the most to me through the first semester of college has been Saturdays with football in Columbus. I really enjoy going to the game and cheering on the Buckeyes rain or shine. Going to the games hasn’t just been enjoyable because of the game itself. Its also been enjoyable because it has given me a chance to meet a bunch of new people as well as hang out with old friends. Days with football are also more than just the game. There’s plenty to do before hand and also plenty to do after, especially after a win.

Whether its in the woods behind my house or on the Swiss Alps, one of my favorite activities to do is hiking. This past summer I was lucky enough to be able to both go hiking in Switzerland and also on Mt. Rainier in Washington and these was two of the greatest experiences of my life. The scenery was amazing and I was able to share the experiences with my best friends in Switzerland and my family in Washington. Being able to just relax with my friends and family is what makes hiking enjoyable for me even if I’m just in my backyard.

About Me

I am a 1st year Mechanical Engineering Student and Humanitarian Engineering Scholar at The Ohio State University. I’m from the great city of Cincinnati, Ohio where I live with my parents and sister. I love just about any sport, but I especially love the Bengals and Reds which means that I’m used to having my heart broken. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, hanging out with friends, and reading. While at Ohio State, I plan on getting more involved in my scholar’s program, a few clubs, and possibly Greek Life. I also plan on getting several internships and co-ops. I hope to graduate with an engineering degree and possibly get an MBA after undergrad. Other than that my future is pretty wide open. The only thing I hope to do is travel a lot.
