Hello world!

In this particular model, I have learned the relationship between memory and learning. The most useful thing that I have learned is the process of mind. Like the video, author Jered Borup state: “The information processing model sees the mind as the computer but an imperfect computer and three stages for memory.” The three stages of memory are sensory memory, working memory, and long-term memory. If we want to mind things for an extended period, the first thing we should do is pay attention to sensory memory, and the memory we have can go deeper to working memory. Second, if we want to encode the working memory into long-term memory, then using some of the tectonics is the best way to do, for example, rehearse. Rehearse is the most common way that we are using during memory reading, but it’s not very efficient for everyone. Author Jered Borup has stated: “how easy to retrieval the memory depends on how often we use it.” In the future, I will follow the information processing model and make sure I am doing the right thing on every step. And that is a beneficial skill that I would like to practice in the future. In my current life, sometimes I would spend tons of the time to memory the words and the knowledge from the textbook, but after a few seconds, I will forget what I have read. Though this model, I have understood that when we try to memory the reading, we should put all of the attention on it; otherwise, we have leak memories on reading. By the way, I acknowledge how to take notes which I have already put into my current life. That helps me a lot, and I got particular and precise notes by using annotating texts. In some of the points, I would use the different color pan to notice various types of records. In the end, I have some of the advice for the student after I learned this model. First, when we decided to memory reading, put the cell phone away, and find a quiet room that can help us be more efficient in memory. Second, using skills from annotating texts for notes, which we can save a lot of time afterward, and easy to catch what we need for solving problems.
