Concept and story
Each entrant to the planetarium will be entering a space ship. Opening scenes will given viewers a sense of that experience of entering as they observe panels of dials and instruments. Virtual windows open to the viewer will show moon above and the sky slowly moving. Subwoofer speakers may be used here to create the rumble of launch.
As they enter they will be given Arduino Based arm bracelets with piezo elements for vibration and sensing. All will be participants a journey to a new solar system that will allow new concepts of travel through space and time and expression of philosophies of ecology and humans evolving to move beyond the planet earth. Sensorial feedback in relation to important film moments will be explored and used to accentuate the emotional elements of this film experience.
It will be an inner and outer journey into new dimensions of space, time and science as humans evolve to survive in space journeys. Passage from nano worlds to micro worlds will be visually fluid.
Story overview: Humans are leaving the earth to find other habitation as the earth is no longer able to sustain humans who have overpopulated.
Experimental space ships will be brought into near earth orbit and then launched into space and accelerated to Alpha Centauri double-star system and our destination is Proxima b. with large lasers used to accelerate the ship. These will be done from the moon where a base and Space X have been working and have shuttles to and from the moon.
We will be exploring Crirpr CAS 9 Gene editing tips to allow humans to survive in space for extended durations.
We will be juxtaposing inner and outer space of the human cell, visuals of Crispr CAS9 in relation to outer structure. Think the powers of 10 here.
Some of the many environments to be explored, modeled and researched are: An asteroid visitation, a moon base, growing food in space, special abilities of new forms of humans that give them abilities to survive in space.
Robots are now doing mosts human tasks and on earth everybody has a basic income. New forms of propulsion and spaceships will be explored and proposed.
Protagonists will be travelers and those on earth who do not like these mutants Cripr CAS Humans as well as the dangers of space which will be antagonists.
