Welcome to my personal website!

My name is Daniel Dodd, and I am currently a second-year PhD student at Ohio State. I currently study in the Gallego-Perez Nanomedicine Lab under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Gallego-Perez. As a student, I study in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program, where my main research interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience and immunology. As such, I am pursuing research in the area of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), an extremely malignant form of brain cancer. My graduate studies will be dedicated to the study of a myeloid cell immunotherapy and its potential oncolytic effects in GBM.

As a graduate student, I am a major advocate of STEM education and the advancement of scientific knowledge. I am a fervent ally of education in the realm of science and want to dedicate my professional career to the advancement of science in the general population. I openly invite collaboration from all that share my mission.
