Grading of examinations and final documentation

  1. All three committee members must agree that the student’s examination is satisfactory in order for the student to successfully pass the DNP Professional Examination. If any committee member judges the examination not to be a passing response, the student fails the examination. All committee members must submit their grade for the student’s examination via Grad Forms within one week of the oral component being completed.
  2. After the Professional Exam is approved by the committee, the student will complete the Human Subjects versus Quality Improvement determination form. In addition to any other approvals such as Institutional Review Board (IRB), clinical agency where the project will be implemented, or other necessary approvals as determined by the committee.
  3. The DNP Final Project cannot be implemented until all necessary approvals have been received.
