We are currently recruiting up to 12 youth, ages 12-18, for the OSU Digital Storytelling Summer Camp experience.
- Youth can choose one or both camps:
- Monday, June 28-Thursday, July 1, 9:30AM to 12:30PM
- Monday, July 19-Thursday, July 22, 9:30AM to 12:30PM
- Location:
- At the OSU STEAM Factory in Franklinton at 400 West Rich Street, Columbus, OH, 43215
- Individual catered lunches from Freedom ala Cart and snacks will be provided to all campers
- The Camp curriculum involves:
- Exploring mobile video production techniques
- Connecting to the craft of storytelling
- Focusing on the mathematical components of our stories
- Accepted Campers:
- Must show documentation of COVID-19 Vaccination, with their 2nd-shot administered at least 2 weeks prior to camp start date
- Are encouraged to bring their own devices, like phones, tablets, laptops, or Chromebooks
- Can borrow an iPad for the week if they need
- The Research Component:
- This camp is part of the OSU Digital Math Storytelling Research Project
- Each camp participant will engage in two 30-minute interviews
- Images and videos created in the camp will be used for research purposes
- Each camp participant will receive a $150 eGift Card

Both camps are full enrolled. Regiser to join the waiting list here. The first part of the survey should be completed by the camp participant. The second part of the survey should be completed by a parent, guardian, or adult family member.
