Hello, my name is Ibrahima Diallo, I’m a freshman on the OSU men’s basketball team. I’m from
senegal, and I come a long way fallowing my dream that is basketball and also get a good
education. I like to play golf in my free time, pool, 2K19, singing even though I don’t have have a
nice voice but I like it so bad. I have 6 siblings 3 brothers and a sister
and 2 older also my little brothers quick playing basketball because of me
now and it’s one of my biggest motivation. Sea food is my favorite food because I live by the
beach back home and we have fresh fish all the time and I like going to the beach playing
soccer all day long.
Growing up in Africa, I learned a lot with a strong culture base and that is different with
American culture but my new life here because everything change food wise
language, life and environment. I had a really hard time when I first got here, meeting new
people, learning English that I never speak also different cultures and background than
every other kids from US, also I have been I can say every State in US because of basketball
and I have visit a lot of place but my favor one is Disney land and Vegas because I been
watching lot of movies that were turned in Vegas and I always told my parents that I would like
to go there.
The main reason why I choose to study and play for OSU is that I used to be a big
fan for Ohio State basketball and football right before I came over to US and also I love their
cultures, they so different than others school because I took some visit before I committed and I
that was the right spot to be around good people that have a strong culture and good education.
