Entering college, I did not have many expectations for my experience here. I assumed I would get a good education and maybe do some not so eye popping things every year to help pad my resume. As the year went on, I learned that not only am I receiving a good education, but the potential to actually make a change in the community is there. I can really help the way I want to, and do the things I wants to do. I might not only do research, but there is a strong likelihood I can get research in something I feel strongly about, and impact the community in any way I care. I learned about all of the clubs there are on campus, and all of the ones I may be able to start. My plan at the beginning of this year was to get adjusted to the rigors of college life and then, if possible, get more involved. Now that I feel I am more adjusted to campus life I plan on spending next year getting involved on campus and changing Columbus for the things I care about.
