Extra Long Razor
This razor, with an extra long 12 inch handle, is ideal for anyone with mobility restrictions. Having only one functional arm, stability and reach become a problem when shaving. With a long handle, we eliminate the awkward positions and discomfort one may experience when using a standard razor. In the final design, the razor head will have a ball joint allowing for improved mobility in every direction while giving the user better contact with the contours of their body.
Adjustable Hair Tie
This product is specifically designed for those with long hair but only one hand/arm. Pulling your hair back is frustrating enough with two hands, taking one of them away makes it nearly impossible. This is a product would be made out of elastic and nylon that is large enough to fit around the head with ease. There would be a hard plastic cinching piece connecting the two long tails together so when you pull hard enough on one of the string tails, the loop will tighten. To remove the hair tie, you will just pull it out like any other hair tie, and loosen the loop. The plastic to will be tight enough to keep the hair tie in place, but with just enough tug, it can come undone to be used again.
One Hand Shoe Tyer
This is an object that allows those with one hand tie their shoes easily and quickly. The slots are big enough so the laces can be laid in without difficulty. When the button is pressed, the shoelace is sucked in to tighten and then tie. The object slightly vibrates when being tied to know that the laces are in place. The product then indicates the shoe is tied by a green light or not by a red light.
Grip Hand
This battery operated hand opens and closes to hold any object for the user while getting ready. It features a suction cup bottom to grip any surface. The hand has a rubber coating to allow an easy and non-harmful grip of any object.
Hand Curling Iron Holder
This is one of the many things the hand we created can do. Holding a curling iron would make it much simpler to curl your hair as you can just use the one arm to wand your hair around the curling iron sitting on the hand. The arm can extend and swivel to get the exact angle needed for your hair. The hand also will not catch on fire if the hot iron touches it, and will be able to clamp together for a firm grip on the iron handle.
