Artifacts

An artifact that describes my first semester is my training certificate from my job as an Office Assistant. I started working over fall break, and it is a rewarding job. I enjoy working for Residence Life and it is a welcoming community. This job has helped me manage my time and find a work-life balance.

About Me

My name is David DeSalvo and I am a freshman at Ohio State. I was born in Westlake, Ohio, a surburb about 15 minutes west of Cleveland. I am pursuing a major in finance and minors in consumer and family financial services and psychology. I hope to be a financial advisor working for a financial services company. I enjoy investing in the stock market and working with others to manage finances. I am currently involved in the Business Scholars Program, the Common Cents Investing Club, the Undergraduate Finance Association, the Financial Planners Association, and the Wishmakers on Campus at OSU club. My goal is to graduate with a 3.8 GPA or higher, have a rewarding internship, and study abroad for a semester.
