ALL Poultry exhibitors must register their projects and submit the proper paperwork via the link provided.  May also get to link from our 4-H App.

Bulk Orders:

1. Market Chickens: Requirement for bulk order is back for 2024.
2. Market Turkeys: Requirement for bulk order for market turkeys is in place. Order by March 15  

CHICKENS: Market

• Possession Date:   Bulk order will arive week of July 1
• Exhibitors must order through bulk order at the Extension Office.
• Available Classes:   Fryers Pen of 2  (total pen not to exceed 12 lbs)
• Available Classes:   Broilers Pen of 2 (total pen 12.1 lbs -15 lbs)

CHICKENS: Pullets, Hens, Fancy

• Possession Date: Must be in possession by April 30th
• Exhibitor must submit proof of purchase (photo of order receipt) and complete proper registration via on-line link below
• Available Classes: Pullets Pen of 2 up to 1 year of age
• Available Classes: Laying Hens pen of 2 over 1 year of age
• Available Classes: Large Fancy under 1 year and Large Fancy over 1 year by gender
• Available Classes: Bantam Fancy under one year and Bantam Fancy over 1 year by gender

TURKEYS: Market

• Market Turkeys: Bulk Orders – Exhibitor will need to contact the Extension Office by March 15th to place order.  419-782-4771
• Available Class:  Market Turkey (1 turkey either sex) 18-20 weeks.  Minimum weight is 20 lbs.

DUCKS: Market

• Possession Date: May 18
• Recommended Age & Weight: 15-20 weeks  Recommended weight 5-12 lbs.  Jumbo Pekin ducks are permitted.
• Exhibitors may order market ducks on their own.  Exhibitors needing help with ordering ducks or geese may contact Desirae Mack at the Defiance TSC store
• Exhibitor must submit proof of purchase (photo of order receipt) and Complete proper registration via on-line link below
• Available Classes: Market Duck  (1 bird of either sex)

DUCKS: Fancy

• Possession Date: June 1
• Exhibitor must submit proof of purchase (photo of order receipt) and complete proper registration via on-line link below
• Available Classes:  Bantam Duck (1 bird) shown by gender
• Available Classes:  Large Fancy Duck (1 bird) shown by gender

GEESE: Market

• Possession Date: May 18.
• Recommended Age & Weight: 15-20  weeks.  Recommended weight 8 – 18 lbs.
• Exhibitors may order market geese on their own. Exhibitors needing help with ordering ducks or geese may contact Desirae Mack at the Defiance TSC store
• Exhibitor must submit proof of purchase (photo of order receipt) and complete proper registration via on-line link below
• Available Classes:  Market Goose (1 either sex)

GEESE: Fancy

• Possession Date: June 1
• Exhibitor must submit proof of purchase (photo of order receipt) and complete proper registration via on-line link below
• Available Classes:  Fancy Goose ( 1 bird) shown by gender
