Team G7 is made up of four members with four unique roles. The team has been tasked to design and build a prototype while recording the process. Due to the nature of the project and the unfamiliarity between members, the team established a Team Agreement prior to the commencement of the project. The agreement is located below.
I. Communication

All members will communicate through texts, emails, Telegram, or GroupMe.

If a question is asked and you do not have the answer, give a productive response. Make sure to respond if no one else has.

All members will be respectful to other’s ideas and suggestions.

All members will communicate if an issue arises. Don’t internalize conflicts. Be productive to solve problems. Recognize and share the solution to the problem in order to properly eliminate the problem in the team.

Say what you mean. Be honest. Be clear and concise.

Be honest about skill set and time management.

All members will communicate if they are unable to complete their task or need help so that all work is handled properly.
II. Participation

All members will complete their assigned task on time and to the best of their ability.

Members are encourage to ask for help if needed.

Expected that if a team member needs help, the other members will do their best to contribute until the problem is solved.

Always work as a team.

Each member is expected to complete the task assigned to them, unless they have communicated any issues.
III. Decision Making & Problem Solving

All decisions will be made on democratic basis.

Remember the strengths of each team member when making decisions.

Consider all input as well as the source.

All members will communicate through problems.

All members will be aware of any decisions being made. Do not make any decisions without communicating with every member of the group.

All members will utilize “Matrix Decision Making”.
IV. Managing Disagreements

All members be included in discussions of disagreements.

Do not allow any disagreements to create a divide in the team.

Do not take discussions, criticism, and comments personally. This is a professional setting. The comments and criticism will pertain to the performance of the team and benefit the team as a whole.
V. Responsibilities & Expectations

All members have a responsibility to complete their designated task

All members have a responsibility to look out for the well-being of each member and maintain fairness in the team workspace.

VI. Conduct – during meetings

All members must remember the purpose of being together.

The team will make sure that all goals get completed at each meeting.

The assignment requirements and robot performance come first.

Maintain productivity.
VII. Conduct – between meetings

All members will keep each other updated on their individual progress and will also provide input on the progress of the team as a whole.

All members will agree on tasks to complete at each meeting.

All members will participate in the act of dividing jobs in order to complete necessary tasks.
