This is a picture of me tuning my high school orchestra for the last time. I had the honor of being concertmaster my senior year for both Symphony and Mannheim Orchestra at my high school. I have played violin for over 10 years, yet I only played in the orchestra for three years. I worked hard to play to the caliber that was required of these two orchestras. When I became concertmaster, I learned what it truly meant to be a leader. A good leader leads with humility. I learned to admit my mistakes and own it. As concertmaster, I wanted to make a difference in the orchestra by reaching out to the underclassmen and bringing unity to the orchestra. Through this experience I learned about leadership, work ethic, and relationships. I am very grateful for having the honor of being concertmaster my senior year of high school.
