AIVM & IVSA Acupuncture lunch lecture

Hi everyone,

Please join Asians in Vet Med and IVSA for a lunch lecture on veterinary acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with guest lecturer Dr. Jacquelyn Boyd. There will be time for a Q+A at the end as well! Lunch from Chipotle will be provided for the first 30 RSVP’s with priority given to SAVMA members.

A little bit more about Dr. Boyd: Dr. Boyd grew up in Findlay, Ohio where she received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay before earning her DVM at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, Dr. Boyd returned to the University of Findlay as an Instructor of Teaching for the Animal Science and the Biology departments. She taught Food Animal Handling, Human Anatomy Lab, and helped develop Vertebrate Anatomy and Physiology courses.

Dr. Boyd currently works at a small animal general practice in Columbus, Ohio. She attended the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society’ s acupuncture course and is dual trained in small animal and equine acupuncture
