Background: One Health Day marks a crucial day where we celebrate the important public health issues at the interface of human health, animal health and the environment such as zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and climate change, among others. On November 3rd, partners across the world mark this day. This day also gives GOHi the opportunity to not only highlight its mission and vision, but also to show how the One Health approach can be applied to generate sustainable impact through collaboration with partners both locally and internationally.

Objective: Raise One Health awareness, demonstrate the interconnectedness of health issues across disciplines, and discuss the complexities faced. This event will also highlight how GOHi has successfully implemented One Health approaches to address complex health issues through various projects, leveraging close collaborations with key partners. It will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, how we can work together to overcome those challenges, and to call upon others to take action.
