Travel and Accomodation

parkingTravel to the conference is traditionally covered by the students’ home department. We encourage you to discuss with your department about covering your travel. However, if this is not possible, please contact us. Note: if you are requesting travel assistance from us, we will need to approve your itinerary prior to making travel arrangements and you will need to keep all receipts. Travel may not be covered for extra days before or after the conference.

Lodging will be provided at The Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Columbus.

Reservations have already been made for double occupancy.

Arriving by air

Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) services the Columbus area.

Transportation to Physics Research Building on Friday evening will run hourly from 3pm to 7pm. Transportation from Hitchcock Hall on Sunday afternoon will run hourly from 3pm to 6pm. Students arriving at CMH should detail their flight information during registration. If your travel does not align with these times, please contact us.

Arriving by car

As we get closer to the conference we will help organize car-pooling groups to keep travel costs low. Please indicate during registration if you plan on driving to the OSU campus, where you are driving from, and how many additional passengers you can accommodate.

The Physics Research Building is located on the north side of The Ohio State University campus.

Students should park at the hotel during the conference and use the buses for transportation to and from the hotel.
