Some politicians and the media did not tell the truth to the American people. Your post brings attention to how Asian Americans are suffering greater due to the influence of certain politicians and media when covering Covid-19. I remember being deeply bothered when seeing the use of the Chinese virus within the media. When a powerful figure uses these terms, many people continue to use them not realizing the impact it has on groups like Asian Americans.
