The learning management system CarmenCanvas is used by instructors, staff, and TAs to create and share materials. It’s often refered to as just “Carmen” or “Canvas”.

Setting up Notifications in Carmen
Instructors might message you directly or make an announcement to your whole class in Carmen. You can decide how you receive notifications for each type of course activity sent to your email or as push notification on your mobile device.

Technical Help/Troubleshooting Issues in Carmen
Contact the Carmen team for additional support. For general technical assistance, please contact the IT Service Desk. The IT Service Desk offers 24-hour support, seven days a week, via email and phone.

CarmenCanvas App
The app to access your course can be downloaded on your phone or tablet. Please note that the app is called Canvas and you will want the Canvas student app. Be aware that you might not be able to do everything on the app that you can do on the web based version of your course.
