Peer Coach: Brandon Palinski

Brandon Palinski has a Masters of Public Health: Veterinary Public Health from The Ohio State University and has been working in the Public Health field since September 2013. As the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department’s (TLCHD) Quality Assurance & Accreditation Coordinator, Brandon is helping the agency achieve Public Health Accreditation while working to develop and instill the principles of strategic planning, continuous quality improvement, and performance management. Brandon is a graduate of the 22nd Cohort of the Mid-America Regional Public Health Learning Institute, a year-long fellowship sponsored by the University of Illinois-Chicago designed to strengthen and promote each fellow’s core leadership competencies and skillsets. In addition, he has been trained by the Center for Public Health Practice at The Ohio State University as a Performance Management Peer Coach to provide technical assistance to Ohio’s local health departments on performance management. Brandon is also member of TLCHD’s Disaster Response Team, a multidisciplinary team trained to aid in the response of public health emergencies and to serve as safety officials for the health department.
