The primary audience for this toolkit is agencies/personnel who are responsible for planning and/or conducting prescribed burns. This may include local, county, and state departments of forestry and other state and federal land management agencies, wildland fire fighters, and fire science exchanges. Other audiences for this toolkit may include organizations who are responsible for educating the public on safety and public health-related issues or community organizations. This may include local, county, and state public health departments, environmental education organizations (e.g., parks and recreation, university extension services, science museums, etc.), prescribed fire councils, and air quality monitoring and regulatory agencies.
