Hello! I’m Austin Coy, a first year chemical engineering student at The Ohio State University. I came to Ohio State because I wanted the best education and best college experience possible. I hope to someday work for a major company managing a chemical plant or developing new technology. I just really want to leave a positive mark on the rest of the world. I hope to co-op or intern as soon as I can and get exposure to the real world to see what the industry is like so that I can be better prepared in the future. In high school, I loved working on the school announcements with my group of friends. Not only did I get exposure to organizing a news show and working in a complicated group, but I got to have a great time. I can’t wait to get out there and see how I can help change the world, but I also can’t wait to keep learning to do what I love at Ohio State!
