  • Multi-Plate Capacity: TX-750 swinging bucket rotor with 96-well plate / flask buckets. Centrifuge up to sixteen microwell plates of 750mL of sample spread across four rectangular flasks.
  • Array Card Loader: A mandatory component for loading array cards. The array card buckets will distribute the sample you added to the top into each of the array card wells.

  • Remove Water and DMSO: –49°C cold trap is ideal for removing water and can remove DMSO over time, but will not trap any organic solvents.
  • Direct-Drive Mechanical Pump: Direct drive pump results in strong vacuum on the system (routinely 15×10–3mbar), but is highly susceptible to fouling. Any organic solvent entering the oil will result in a loss of vacuum and loss of performance.
  • Multi-Port: 6-Port drying chamber allows you to dry multiple samples simultaneously.
  • NO ORGANICS: Even a small amount of ACN left over from a column will be enough to foul the pump oil and cause the system vacuum to fail.

Centrifugal Evaporator – Genevac EZ-2 Plus

  • Easy to use: Balance your test tube trays and place them in the swinging bucket rotor. Then select from among 9 pre-programmed pumping methods. Set a temp and you’re off.
  • Smooth Evaporation: Centrifugation prevents the sample from bumping and integral cold trap condenses vapors.
  • Small Pump: The vacuum pump is roughly the same as a rotovap pump, so removing water will take quite some time, especially if you are not able to raise the temperature significantly.

  • Sometimes, Simplest is Best: No frills nitrogen evaporators allow you to strip off solvent under a nitrogen stream with heating by heating block or water bath.
  • Plates and Tubes: The MicroVap is built to simultaneously blow N2 into each well of a 96- or 24-well plates. The MultiVap has 100 positions for test tubes (or flasks) and is configured as 10 banks of 10 nozzles for improved efficiency.
