Deepa Krishnan, Ph.D., is a senior research associate and lab manager in the Shared Instrumentation Facility, College of Pharmacy. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, working with Prof. Leung Pak-Hing on synthesizing chiral N-Heterocyclic carbenes and their metal chelates with structural and stereochemical investigation. She joined the Instrumentation facility at the College of Pharmacy in 2017. Her work in the facility includes training users, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of the wide variety of instruments in the lab. She has expertise in bioanalytical method development and quantification of small molecules using LC-MS/MS methods.
