Join us in reading and discussing Teaching Interculturally: A Framework for Integrating Disciplinary Knowledge and Intercultural Development by Amy Lee et al. This thought-provoking book is about maintaining disciplinary standards while creating learning opportunities that invite students into the learning process, teach them how to take responsibility for their learning, and allow them to share their diverse voices and learn about alternate perspectives. The book focuses on the teacher and the work of re-thinking and developing a course, including case studies, examples of student work, and examples of classroom challenges.
